Teaching Practice Phase 1 (Week5)

 In the fifth week of my teaching practice, the school reopened after the Onam vacation, and I introduced a new lesson titled "The Light on the Hills." Initially, the students were a bit restless, still carrying the excitement of the holiday. However, as I began to present the content, their interest quickly piqued. Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, I noticed their focus shifting as they became absorbed in the themes of the lesson. It was rewarding to see them transition from distraction to genuine curiosity, allowing for a dynamic and productive classroom environment.

  This week was quite dynamic as we conducted conscientisation programs and other school-based activities on October 14th. Due to a packed schedule, we didn’t have any free periods, which meant we had to adjust our class timings to fit everything in. This challenge encouraged teamwork and flexibility among the staff, allowing us to successfully carry out the programs while ensuring that our educational goals remained a priority. On October 15th, we were unable to hold regular classes because of the inauguration of the creative corner by the honorable mayor. This event provided a unique opportunity for the school community to celebrate creativity and innovation. It was a wonderful experience, filled with excitement and pride, as the mayor's presence underscored the importance of fostering a creative environment for our students. Teaching practice phase 2 (week 5)

  This week, a special assembly was held with a meaningful focus on teaching students how to interact with and support physically handicapped and mentally challenged students. It was a valuable opportunity to foster empathy and understanding among the students, helping them learn to be more inclusive and compassionate in their interactions. In addition to this, I had another observation by Nadeem sir, and I was pleased to receive positive feedback on my teaching methods and classroom management. His encouraging words have motivated me to continue improving and refining my approach in the classroom.
